Nine years ago, Lisa joined this company as a customer service representative.

A former teacher, she loved helping people—answering emails, listening to stories, and walking alongside families who were trying to grow in their faith. Outside of work, she was serving in church life as a youth small group leader and in Kids Ministry. Faith wasn’t a brand category. It was simply life.

Over time, her role grew. Customer service became management. Management became curation. Eventually, she was helping shape the very boxes landing on kitchen tables across the country.

Lisa and Bobby Nicholson

Bobby’s path was similar. A teacher, coach, and youth leader, he also worked behind the scenes in customer service. His heart for students and families shaped how he approached the work. The guiding question was simple:

How does this help faith live beyond Sunday?

Neither of us imagined we would one day lead the company. But God was quietly preparing us long before we realized it.

The road wasn’t simple.

Over the years, the company passed through three different owners and seasons of deep uncertainty, including bankruptcy. There were moments when the future felt fragile—when the mission we cared about seemed like it might disappear.

But through every chapter, God remained faithful.

When the opportunity came to purchase the company, we didn’t see it as a business decision alone. We prayed. We sought wise counsel. And we felt invited to step forward in faith.

Not because it was easy. But because it felt right.

That step became Everyday Faith.

And from it, Rooted was born.

Why we continue.

These are our grandkids.

As parents of five and grandparents to three, faith in our home is real, imperfect, and lived out daily.

We didn’t want quick inspiration.

We wanted something steady. Something that would help Scripture take root and grow over time.

Rooted exists because we believe faith is formed in everyday moments—around kitchen tables, in ordinary conversations, in quiet morning light.

Our hope is simple:

That God would use Rooted to open doors into hearts and homes.

That faith would feel accessible and sustainable.

That deep roots would grow quietly—and bear lasting fruit.

We’re honored you’re here.
